Exploring Commercial Craft Hard Cider & Perry Production: From orchard to glass.

WSU Clark County Extension is offering an introductory workshop for individuals interested in starting a commercial "field-to-glass" hard cider production business on Friday, March 23rd from 3-6:30 at the WSU-Vancouver campus. The workshop covers the fundamentals of commercial cider tree fruit production and fermentation, and considerations for setting up and running a successful cider business. 

The event will feature three speakers, WSU Horticulturalist Carol Miles and Fermentation Specialist Bri Ewing from the Extension Cider Program at Mt. Vernon, along with Nick Gunn of BenchGraft Cider Consulting and the Northwest Cider Association. The workshop will also offer participants opportunities to network and connect with pertinent resources to help them begin their process of initiating a cider business.
