Celebrate Oregon Cider Week in style with Finnriver and Bushwhacker Cider. 6-10pm Thursday, June 25th a not to be missed Finnriver Formal Cocktail Party will be hosted by Bushwhacker Cider at their new location in Portland’s Woodlawn neighborhood at 901 NE Oneonta Street, Portland, OR 97211. The evening will feature cider cocktails made with Finnriver Farm & Cidery farmcrafted ciders and brandywines combined with distilled spirits custom created by Woodlawn’s Manager, KC Yenne. The menu showcases cider cocktails, limited release draft cider selections, delectable appetizers and hand selected Finnriver complimentary pours throughout the evening. Guests are encouraged to dress to impress in formal attire! The best dressed guest (as determined by the staff) will be awarded a ‘dapper door prize.’ Tickets are $40 in advance or $45 at the door, as available. Admission is limited. Ticket price includes: admission, two original Finnriver cider cocktails, complimentary pours and appetizers. Bushwhacker’s bar will be open during the event serving a special cocktail party menu.

Draft Selections
Finnriver Barrel Berry Sour Cider, 6.5% abv
A very limited release, Finnriver Berry Barrel Sour Cider is part of Finnriver’s Crew Selection line. This cider is stupendously raspberry, tart, truly tangy with strong fruit acids from apples, pears and berries. Lively burst of fruit and vivid fermented flavor. Fermented and soured with a light oak backbone that provides balancing of depth and bitterness. A combination of pear and apple wines fermented in barrels and in steel tanks, soured with Brettanomyces yeast, Lacto-bacillus and Pediococcus bacteria and are then combined. Once blended, Finnriver applied a famous finishing technique from the Belgian beer world called Lambic-- 25 pounds of fresh, organic raspberries were added to a blended tank of soured cider and where the resident yeast/bacteria were allowed to work on the ripe berries, to create a cider lambic.

Finnriver Oak and Apple, 6.5% abv
Part of Finnriver’s rotating Crew Selections line the limited release, Oak and Apple Cider is a medium bodied and lightly oaked. This semi-sweet cider begins with a clean, sparkling Granny Smith foundation and is finished with a woody vanilla nose. A light, elegant showcase of French and American Oak our cider is aged in Pommeau barrels, adding juicy bittersweet tannin complimenting the oak. Finnriver’s crew selections line of ciders are produced small batch in 375ml bottles and limited draft, highlighting the creative talents of Finnriver’s farm fermenting crew.

Finnriver Lavender Black Currant Cider, 6.5% abv
Part of Finnriver’s Seasonal Craft Cider line, Lavender Black Currant marries bright apple fruit, berry complexity and rich, floral depth of local, organic lavender. This semi-sweet botanically infused cider is crafted from organic Washington dessert apples, featuring seasonal varieties such as Granny Smith, Pink Lady, Braeburn and Gala. Our botanical ciders share the earthly essence of life in the fields and forests of the Olympic Peninsula. Produced in small batch seasonal production we ferment the juice, blend with black currant, and then steep lavender flowers to desired intensity.
