Cider Garden Party with Alter Ego Cider at Aviary

Aviary welcomes summer with a cider celebration and garden party during Portland Cider Week featuring Alter Ego Cider and benefitting the Portland Fruit Tree Project. On Wednesday, June 22 from 6 - 8 p.m. join the Aviary team, Anne Hubatch of Alter Ego Cider, and the Portland Fruit Tree Project for an evening spent in the restaurant’s charming patio garden, enjoying appetizers and a taste of local ciders produced by friends and winemakers Hubatch, Nate Wall, and Kris Wall. Aviary’s cider celebration will feature three Alter Ego ciders; The Brute, The Sunny Sider, and The Dark Sider. The Portland-based small batch craft cider producer has quickly ascended to become a local favorite, for more info on Alter Ego Cider, visit: Known for her incredibly creative plates and passion for the season’s best vegetables and ingredients, Chef Pliner will offer an array of passed hors d’oeuvres. Chef Pliner is excited to celebrate the summer bounty grown in her gardens at the restaurant and at home. The Aviary Summer Cider Garden Party will be $25 per person, with $5 benefitting the Portland Fruit Tree Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing access to healthful food and strengthen communities by empowering neighbors to share in the harvest and care of city-grown produce.
