In honor of Oregon Cider Week, Eric Wheeler of Positively Portland Walking Tours is offering a special tour of the historic Albina neighborhood beginning and ending at my taproom. After the approximately 1-mile tour, enjoy a 12-oz cider included in the fee! And consider staying for the free screening of "The Last Man on Earth" (1964) starring Vincent Price starting at approximately 9pm.

Albina was the terminus of the first trans-continental railroad and an independent city before being incorporated into Portland in 1891. This was historically a neighborhood with a relatively high percentage of African-Americans. In the mid-20th century this district was an "urban sacrifice" area for the building of Memorial Coliseum and Interstate Highway 5.

Eric Wheeler is an architectural historian and transplant to Portland from the Midwest. He has a professional life in historic preservation and heritage tourism for 20 years.

$15 per person, 21+ only. Please purchase tickets in advance.
