2025 Northwest Cider Cup Now Accepts Entries at NW Cider Symposium

TACOMA, WASHINGTON (February 18, 2025)
New Drop-Off Option Saves Cidermakers Time & Shipping Costs
For the first time ever, cidermakers will be able to submit their Northwest Cider Cup (NWCC) entries in person at the Northwest Cider Symposium hosted March 18, 2025, in Tacoma, WA. This new offering from competition organizer, Northwest Cider Association (NWCA) provides cidermakers with a cost-saving and convenient way to enter one of North America’s most prestigious cider competitions.
“This change makes it easier than ever for cideries across the region to participate in the Northwest Cider Cup,” said Emily Ritchie, NWCA Executive Director “It eliminates shipping hassles, reduces barriers such as costs, ensuring more cideries can take advantage of the valuable feedback and recognition the competition provides.”
HOW IT WORKS
- Register entries online starting March 3 at nwcidercup.com
- Package cider entries in a sturdy, unmarked box.
- Drop off entries at the Northwest Cider Symposium in Tacoma, Washington March 18.
- NWCA will transport entries to the official receiving location, ensuring they are safely stored in a climate controlled environment until the main submission window (April 28 – May 30), when they will be sorted for judging with all other entries
