6th Annual Cider Swig in Gig Harbor!

THE CIDERS RETURN FOR THE 6th ANNUAL CIDER SWIG!

The Cider Swig returns to Gig Harbor with dozens of regional ciders to sip, live music and entertainment on two stages, the annual “Battle of the Pie” Contest, apple launching, award winning delectable “curbside cuisine” by area chefs, restaurants and food trucks, the Kids Applet Drop-off Center, and more!

Northwest cidermakers will present over 100 ciders (and related libations). The popular Apple Carnivàle returns – replete with performers, arts and crafts, dancers, an array of carnival games, inflatable obstacle course, sticky wall, face painting, apple launching, demonstrations, and other fun and games.

Ciders presented for sampling in the Cider Garden, sponsored by UPTOWN Gig Harbor, will be for sale under the Cider Tent, so you can take your favorite ciders home to enjoy!

Ticket includes: 5 drink tokens, 6 oz. festival glass, and access to all live music and entertainment, food, the Apple Carnivàle Zone, and all other festival activities.

Additional cider tokens are available at festival. ID is required to enter the Cider Garden. Must be 21+ to enter the Cider Garden.

**Each year the Cider Swig brings thousands from around the region to enjoy ciders, great food, live music and family fun. And, each year the Cider Swig sells out! Advance ticket purchase is strongly encouraged.**

OTHER FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS

This is an accessible family-fun and dog-friendly event. Dogs are required to be on leash and under the control of their owners at all times.

Music: American Idol star and Fox Island native, Ruthie Craft; contemporary rock and a little bit country band Sounds Like Doloreswill get you up a dancin; singer, songwriter, pianist, and Gig Harbor native Maddy Dullum; and accomplished composer and lyricist Kristen Marlo, who’s broad appeal is reflected in the different artists she has opened for including Sara Bareilles, Allen Stone, The Bravery, and Eric Church.

The Applet Center (drop-off and activities), is hosted by GGHF Curious by Nature School in the Volunteer Vern Pavilion. For a small fee, children ages 3 to 12, can play games, create art, and have a blast in a safe, clean environment while you enjoy the Cider Garden and other festival activities.

Cider Swig proceeds support environmental education, restoration and conservation efforts across our greater peninsulas.
